Ah, so that's where Arduin (a D&D lesser-contemporary) got the flying shark idea.
I remember Ka-zar. My grandfather was a newspaper driver/distbutor and he would sometimes give issues that weren't sent back to the publishers (don't know how he got them or the reason behind it). Of course in grade school, we argued endlessly whether his name was "Ka-zar," or "Kay-zar."
